Job Description
Transit Service Planning is responsible for service and operations planning for bus, rail and Para Transpo services, including route planning, scheduling, and capital and operating budgeting. The Transit Scheduler I is responsible for the scheduling of transit service and the development of operator work shifts.
Requirements
- Completion of 4 year university degree in Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a transit scheduling or transportation operations environment
- Completion of Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) Transit Planning and/or Scheduling or equivalent course is an asset
