The Summer Student - Data Analyst Assistant for Traffic Control will conduct standard field studies in traffic engineering, investigate complaints related to traffic light settings, and maintain the technical data base of the traffic data used by the City of Ottawa's Integrated Traffic System.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in any field of study
• Less than four months of relevant experience
• Valid Ontario Category G driver's license (or equivalent provincial license) with a maximum of six demerit points
• Patience
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to work overtime and long hours as needed
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions
• Access to a reliable and efficient means of transportation
