PD Dispatch- Call Taker/Dispatch

Operates and coordinates combined radio communications for police, fire, and animal services, including 9-1-1 computer-aided dispatch, NCIC/MULES/REJIS systems, and emergency preparedness weather warning sirens.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Type at least 35 words-per-minute
• Successful completion of training program, including NIMS level training
• Valid Driver’s License
• Typing Test and Critical Test
• Drug testing and Hearing Test
• Comprehensive Background Check
