The City of Baltimore is seeking a Training Officer to plan, develop, organize, conduct, and implement employee development, technical, and multi-day in-service training programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of experience in developing and implementing employee development, professional, technical, or vocational training programs
- Certification from a recognized professional body in training, instructional systems design, or business-related information technology applications may be substituted for a portion of the educational or experience requirement
- Prior to hire, candidates must possess and maintain a Maryland Class A or B Commercial Driver's license, or an equivalent out-of-state driver's license acceptable to the Office of Risk Management
- Defensive Driving Instructor Certificate issued by the Safety Council of Maryland within six months of hire
- First Aid and CPR Instructor Certificate issued by the Safety Council of Maryland within six months of hire
