Construction Mechanical Inspector I - Department of Housing and Community Development

The Construction Mechanical Inspector I conducts on-site inspections of mechanical installations in new construction or renovation projects for contract and specification compliance.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a GED certificate
• Three years of experience in mechanical installation, maintenance or inspection
• Master plumber license issued by the State Board of Plumbing, the Baltimore County Plumbing Board, or the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
• Valid Maryland Class C Noncommercial driver's license or an equivalent driver's license
