Job Description
The City of Baltimore is seeking a Community Partnership Manager, Operations Officer II to work with the Baltimore Police Department. The role involves planning, coordinating, and directing administrative and programmatic operations. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of experience in community/youth programming, violence prevention, or public administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Minimum 1 year of experience in community/youth programming, violence prevention, community outreach and engagement, project management, and/or public administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management and leadership
- Knowledge of neighborhood policing plan implementation
- Ability to provide technical assistance to Baltimore city partners and stakeholders
- Strong public speaking and writing skills
- Ability to lead high-level planning efforts, coordinate multi-stakeholder groups, and manage complex operational functions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict deadlines
- Familiarity with public administration, nonprofit management, or public-private partnerships
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Commitment and passion for the mission of the Baltimore police department
