Wholesale Portfolio Management Officer

The Wholesale Portfolio Management Officer is responsible for underwriting, managing, and growing a credit portfolio while ensuring compliance with CNB policies. This role combines analytical credit expertise with proactive portfolio management to identify risks early and maintain asset quality.

Requirements

• Drive end-to-end ownership of assigned portfolio
• Analyze credit trends and portfolio metrics
• Manage financial tickler records daily
• Prepare detailed covenant waiver memoranda
• Participate in reviews and examinations
• Conduct annual reviews and covenant tests
• Collect and analyze borrower financials
• Validate data accuracy for CECL and ALR reporting
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting
• Engage with clients directly through face-to-face meetings
• Serve as a trusted credit partner
• Initiate renewals 150 days before maturity
• Partner with RMs and Loan Operations to coordinate renewals
• Underwrite loans and produce CAMs for extensions/modifications
• Manage renewal and extension pipelines
• Order appraisals, insurance, and environmental reviews
• Use portfolio insights to identify credit and deposit-related cross-sell opportunities
• Provide data-driven insights to RMs and leadership
• Work cross-functionally with internal partners
• Provide timely updates to the Risk Director and RMs
• Execute ad hoc projects and risk-related analyses
