The Denver Public Library is seeking a Security Officer II to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and staff at the Central Library in downtown Denver. The ideal candidate will have a solid customer service background, knowledge of safety and security in a public setting, and ability to thrive in a diverse environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
- Two (2) years of experience working with security and safety issues
- Valid Driver's License
- Unarmed Business Guard License issued by the City and County of Denver
- First Aid and CPR certification by the American Red Cross within 60 days of hire
