Job Description
The Denver Fire Department is seeking former firefighters to be rehired. To be eligible, applicants must have been separated under honorable circumstances and not exceeded two years of separation. They must also meet certain certification and examination requirements.
Requirements
- Former members of the classified service who were separated under honorable circumstances
- Not exceeded two years of separation
- Written approval by the chief of the Denver Fire Department
- Written approval by the Executive Director of Safety
- Written approval of a majority of the members of the Civil Service Commission
- Required certifications must remain active
- Pass examination requirements
