Job Description
The Denver Sheriff Department is seeking qualified applicants for our January 2026 training academy. As a Deputy Sheriff, you may be assigned to either of our detention facilities, working varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may be reassigned based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate
- 21 years of age by the start of the academy
- Valid Driver’s License at the time of application
- Certified physical fitness standards adopted by the Department
