Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician will provide technical support to plant operations, identify sources of complications, and maintain mechanical operations at a high quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical maintenance role
• Working knowledge of diverse machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Teamwork and good communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items and work overtime
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled cold food processing rooms (45f or colder) continuously for up to 4 hours
• Ability to work in freezers (with protective gear)
