Your mission is to identify, qualify, and win buyers for energy storage systems across key customer groups, working closely with ESS Partners, finance, and legal to turn market demand into executed deals.
Requirements
- 3–8+ years in business development / B2B sales within energy storage, renewables, power markets, or grid infrastructure.
- Proven track record of selling complex solutions with multi-stakeholder buying committees.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience working with term sheets/contracts (with support).
- Excellent CRM discipline (pipeline hygiene, forecasting, stage definitions).
- Knowledge of project development lifecycle (site control → interconnection → permitting → financing → EPC).
- Familiarity with offtake structures and revenue stacks (capacity, arbitrage, ancillary services).
- Existing network across utilities, developers, IPPs, and storage operators.
