Intake Medical Assistant (59047)

As an Intake Medical Assistant, duties include completing admission paperwork, coordinating patient admissions, attending daily meetings, and collaborating with providers and nurses. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of medical terminology, a completion of a Medical Assistant training course, and 1 year of MA experience.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology
• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training course
• Able to obtain vital signs accurately
• Ability to use personal computer for recording patient data/history
• Proficient in reading and writing skills in English
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
• Demonstrated interest in working with an underserved population
• 1 years of MA experience
• High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• Experience in a medical environment highly desirable
• Bi-lingual communicative skills preferred
• CPR/BLS certification
• Current Arizona state driver’s license
