Medical Services - Substitute Nurse

This substitute school nurse role oversees all medical illness or injuries for CAK’s medical team, working on-site during school days and summer camp. The role involves managing medications, ensuring student readiness, and handling health information with confidentiality. This is a temporary, hourly position.

Requirements

• Ability to oversee and manage health related illness and injuries
• Manage and catalog OTC and prescription medications
• Adhere to the privacy of confidential health information
• Annual staff training on life threatening allergies, asthma, seizures, diabetes, etc.
• Ability to use CAK's health record platform
• CPR/AED certification is current
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience, 10 years’ experience desired
• Flexibility to be PRN
