Job Description
ChowNow is a leading off-premise restaurant technology company focused on streamlining online ordering. They are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team and support new initiatives to scale engineering efforts, including data and AI/ML. The role involves championing product development, team culture, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years focused on data and ML systems
- 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teams of 5-12 direct reports
- Strong knowledge of modern data engineering stack (Kafka, Spark, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Python and TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Working knowledge of AWS (SageMaker, EMR, Redshift) or GCP
- Passion for team building and a track record of recruiting
