Job Description
The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA) is seeking a Director of Finance to oversee all aspects of their accounting functions. This position involves planning, budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and ensuring effective financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a key member of the senior management team and will be responsible for directing and controlling the company's financial systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
- At least five years’ experience in nonprofit finance
- At least three years’ supervisory experience
- In-depth knowledge of financial practices, regulations, and reporting requirements
- Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Nexonia, Salesforce)
- Experience in supervision, management, and mentorship of staff
