Job Description
The First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program offers a coordinated specialty care approach to treatment for young people with recent psychosis. The role supports young people through low-dose medication, behavioral therapy, and family education to help them achieve recovery through empowerment. The program is based out of Chester County and offers 20 hours of work per week, with potential for increased hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified as a peer specialist (CPS) from a certified training program
- Effective management of recovery from psychosis or other mental health challenges
- 12+ months of full or part-time work experience or 1+ year of post-secondary education
- Ability to share recovery experiences and provide hope and encouragement
- Ability to assist youth in developing empowerment skills.
