Job Description
Chief Buildings is seeking a Project Management Intern to join the team at the summer of 2026. The internship provides real-world experience gaining insight into the duties of a Project Manager at Chief Buildings, and building a foundation for full-time employment with a metal building manufacturer. It'll broaden the intern's understanding of the metal building industry and how design professionals interact with metal building manufacturers.
Requirements
- Gain general knowledge of metal building systems.
- Review plans and ensure compliance with local building codes.
- Learn Chief’s in-house quoting and order system.
- Assist with order intake and clarification.
- Understand Chief’s standard details and drawing packages.
- Shadow various departments in the manufacturing process.
