Assist students with basic curriculum work, implement programming, reinforce learning skills, and reinforce discipline procedures. Assist classroom teacher by preparing classroom materials, monitoring students, and evaluating and recording student achievement.
Requirements
- High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
- Basic knowledge of typical office equipment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Intermediate English language skills
- Intermediate oral and written communication skills
- Advanced interpersonal relations skills
- Advanced organizational skills
- Ability to work alone and with others
- Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job
- Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students
