Job Description
CHEP is looking for a motivated Assistant Plant Manager to join their team in Pendergrass, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring occupational health and safety compliance, maintaining environmental compliance, and providing effective leadership to frontline managers.
Requirements
- Ensure occupational health and safety compliance for all employees, contractors, and visitors
- Maintain environmental compliance by working within corporate and regulatory guidelines
- Provide effective leadership and direction to frontline managers
- Ensure compliance with all operational procedures and work instructions
- Manage workforce planning to ensure the plant is adequately staffed with appropriately trained personnel
- Ensure production processes run efficiently and effectively within budgetary constraints
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives
