The Manager, Patient Benefits is a key role within the organization, responsible for managing the Patient Continuity Needs Advocates (PCNA) in their respective divisions.
Requirements
- PCNA Support: Supports center leader’s direct management of the PCNA’s, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Training and Development: Provides guidance, coaching, and training to PCNA members to enhance their performance and ensure adherence to established protocols and best practices.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serves as the primary point of contact for identifying and reporting any barriers or challenges faced by the PCNA to divisional and regional leaders.
- Medicaid Policy Updates: Stays up to date with changes in Medicaid policies, regulations, and guidelines that impact the PCNA's operations.
- Coaching and Driving Productivity: Monitors and assesses the performance of PCNAs in their division daily, ensuring adherence to quality standards, productivity targets, and regulatory requirements.
- Building Partnerships: Collaborates with the Department of Health and other relevant agencies to establish and nurture relationships aimed at improving benefit application outcomes.
- Application Support: Prepares and submits applications if a PCNA in-market is on leave or PTO for an extended amount of time to ensure there are no missed renewals and/or Medicaid applications for new and existing patients.
