Job Description
Senior Process Safety Engineer responsible for providing Process Safety Management oversight and leadership to Chemtrade. Develops knowledge and systems to improve Process Safety Management systems, leads Process Hazard Analyses, and represents Chemtrade at industry forums and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer designation in home region
- 5+ years Process Engineering and Process Safety Management experience
- Experience with PHA software such as PHA-Pro or Stature
- Experience conducting and leading process safety audits
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards and guidelines related to Process Safety and Design
- High attention to detail
- Self-Starter
- Able to troubleshoot when required
- Above average technical writing and presentation skills
- Experience working with cross functional teams and able to manage through influence
- Able to travel up to 40%
- Functional Safety and SIS design / implementation experience is an asset
- Bilingual is an asset (French/English)
