Job Description
Checkr is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Developer Experience team. This role focuses on enhancing the developer experience, improving tooling, and driving best practices within their platform engineering group. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of software fundamentals and strong skills in building and maintaining core software tools.
Requirements
- Solid grasp of CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, databases, REST APIs)
- 5+ years of backend development experience; proficient in Ruby, Golang, Python
- Passion for enhancing developer experience (DevEx) and optimizing tooling
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive attitude
- Ability to thrive on collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Experience in system architecture, domain modeling, and object-oriented design
- Clean, tested, and concise code
- Validates work.
