Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is looking for experienced welders for our Header manufacturing line.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a Sub Arc Welding or SAW test.
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings
- Ability to operate overhead-crane
- Demonstrate a high-regard for safety by following all safety rules and procedures and leveraging Stop Work Authority when necessary
- Familiarity with welding machines and hand tools
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with quality an in an efficient manner
- Ability to work under general supervision
- Ability to work different shifts
- Ability to pass 6G Tig test on carbon steel 2” pipe preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn to operate basic cutting equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Possesses a positive attitude
