Job Description
Charles County Public Schools is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Instructional Assistant to provide support to school-aged children. The role involves working directly with students, providing instructional reinforcement, and assisting the classroom teacher. It requires a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with staff, students and parents.
Requirements
- Demonstrated interest in and aptitude for working with school-aged children.
- Excellent human relations skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work effectively with students
- Ability to work with individual or small groups
- Regular on-time attendance
- Ability to provide substitute coverage
