Job Description
The Racial Equity and Inclusion team is seeking a Bilingual/Multilingual Community Ambassador to help clients and service providers overcome language and cultural barriers, build trust, and facilitate communication with New American community members. Responsibilities include providing translation and interpretation services, attending meetings, and leading outreach programs in-person or remotely. The role is on-call with multiple positions available.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED required
- Associate’s degree preferred and a minimum of one year of related experience
- Fluency in multiple languages required
- Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role
- Prior relevant experience and certification in translation and interpretation preferred or willingness to become certified
