Job Description
CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Material Handler to support spacecraft assembly, integration, and test by preparing, organizing, and delivering highly accurate hardware kits. The role requires advanced knowledge of aerospace material handling practices and strong ERP/MRP system skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or technical training preferred
- 5+ years of experience in kitting, materials handling, or production support (aerospace or defense industry strongly preferred)
- Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Deltek Costpoint, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong ability to read and interpret BOMs, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-stakes environments
- Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments
- In-depth knowledge of ESD, FOD, and contamination control practices
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in physically active environments
