Your Tasks

In cooperation with the University of Bochum, CES offers the cooperative engineering program in the field of Applied Computer Science with the degree of "Bachelor of Science". You will earn an internationally recognized degree with very good take-up chances and perspectives in our company through the study.

The Combined Study

The combined study takes 9 semesters. During the study, you will work part-time for 2 days a week and full-time for 12 weeks during the semester break in the company.

In the Company

• Develop new applications and integrate them into existing systems
• Development of software for embedded systems
• Performing software tests and programming test cases for software test automation
• Development of user-friendly and application-oriented interfaces
• Project management
• Process optimization

In the University

• Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, and Network Technology
• Choice of example modules:
• Basic sciences (mathematics, physics, electrical engineering)
• Fundamental knowledge of computer science (e.g. object-oriented programming, databases, IT infrastructure)
• Modules in the application-oriented fields (e.g. machine learning, robotics, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things)
• Interdisciplinary competences (e.g. basic business administration, project management)

Your Profile

We are looking for you if you can present a good school leaving certificate or university entrance qualification and high commitment and reliability are of course a matter of course for you.

You should bring:

• Abitur or Fachhochschulreife with good grade
• Above-average commitment
• Reliability
