Job Description
Ceribell is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join their dynamic team and build a next-generation EEG web application for critical medical use cases. This role involves developing, maintaining, and improving the backend systems of the EEG Portal application, which supports healthcare providers, researchers, and clinical teams. The engineer will collaborate closely with other teams to ensure robustness, security, and scalability. This is a hybrid role based in their Sunnyvale Headquarters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of backend development experience
- Proficient in Javascript and/or Typescript, Node.js, Ruby and SQL
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience working with ML/AI teams
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices and code versioning tools like Git
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
