Job Description
Reporting to the Lifestyle & Wellness Manager, the Lifestyle & Wellness Assistant is responsible for assisting in the implementation of activity programs that meet the physical, social, emotional, intellectual, spiritual, vocational, environmental and cultural needs and interests of residents in accordance with established goals and policies.
Requirements
- Organizes and implements indoor and outdoor daily activity programs
- Assists in setting the objectives and standards required measuring the success of the programs
- Promotes resident participation in programs that meet the 7 dimensions of wellness
- Directs and supervises volunteers
- Drives the commercial bus and / or courtesy shuttle for community outings
- Observes and reports any changes in residents' functional and cognitive behavior
