Cable Technician

Cable Installer job at Centuria, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), to support the mission of the 66th Air Base Group (66 ABG) at Hanscom AFB, MA.

Requirements

• Familiar with Windows 11 and Microsoft Office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint applications) 2013-2019
• Experience in installation/termination/testing/troubleshooting of structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6) copper cabling plant
• Experience in installation/termination/testing/troubleshooting inside / outside plant (multi-mode and single-mode) fiber optic cable plants
• Proficient with cable test equipment and working knowledge of all applicable TIA/EIA cabling standards
• Ability to lift about 70+lbs
• Critical thinking and leadership skills for problem identification and resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service skills
