Field Service Battery/DC Power Technician - Des Moines, IA

East Penn Manufacturing is looking for a Field Service Battery/DC Power Technician to work in the Des Moines, Iowa area. The position includes a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.

Requirements

• High School diploma required.
• Technical degree or training preferred.
• Previous experience in technical field.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office equipment.
• Battery knowledge preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge and mechanical ability (AC/DC is a plus).
• Strong written and oral communication skills with technical background.
• Maintain a consistent and positive customer service image.
• Knowledge and experience working with both hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and understand specifications, detailed drawings and technical standards.
• Organizational skills, ability to multitask.
• Problem solving / analysis skills.
• Proficient with computer software, including internal systems and Microsoft office, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.
