Job Description
The YMCA is seeking a Program Staff member for Thrive Afterschool to support their mission of strengthening the community through caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. This position involves working with youth in safe and quality programs, fostering positive behavior, and maintaining a clean environment. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to building relationships with participants.
Requirements
- Physical requirements including standing, walking, sitting, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
- CPR and First Aid certification required within 60 days of hire.
- High school degree or GED or working towards completion.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Basic computer skills.
