Job Description
Central Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to join their Behavioral Health Services team. The role focuses on providing compassionate, trauma-informed clinical care with a goal of reducing barriers to mental health and substance use services. The Counselor will work collaboratively with patients, their support persons, and providers to deliver culturally affirming counseling and interventions.
Requirements
- Conduct a diagnostic assessment of mental health and/or substance use disorders.
- Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based, strengths-based and culturally affirming therapeutic counseling.
- Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and counseling groups.
- Advocate with stakeholders for patient needs.
- Complete direct and indirect patient care documentation.
