Job Description
The Phlebotomist provides routine specimen collection of blood and a variety of other sources from patients, while maintaining HIPAA standards, safety and universal precautions.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED
- Graduate of an accredited phlebotomy program/Current phlebotomy certification
- Good oral/written communication skills
- Ability to interact with physicians/patients/other staff members
- Basic typing skills
- Effective use of EHR (Electronic Health Record)
- Knowledge of proper, safe, and efficient use of current office equipment/software
- Knowledge of Office 365 programs: including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Two years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
- Bilingual communication (preferred)
