Job Description
Responsible for the safe and efficient transfer of petroleum products between barges, ships, and facilities, including completion of bills of lading and gauge reports. Creates load/discharge plans and operates various equipment.
Requirements
- Tankerman PIC endorsement
- Valid USCG Merchant Mariners Document
- Valid STCW endorsements for RFPNW, Basic Training, and Vessel Security
- Valid driver's license, TWIC Card, and Passport
- Previous experience as a tank barge operator on oil barges
- Valid 24 hr HAZWOPER
- Basic computer knowledge and skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
