Child Care Worker-Oceanside

We are seeking a Child Care Worker (CCW) to join our team who has demonstrated high ethical standards and a desire to positively impact the lives of others. The CCW is responsible for ensuring that the STRTP facility operates as a strength-based family-friendly environment, providing care and supervision to residents in the therapeutic home setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (if hired after January 1, 2017)
• Valid Child Development Teaching Permit, Alcohol Counselor Certificate, and/or Drug Counselor Certificate
• Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Foster and Kinship Care Education or related field
• At least 1 year of experience working at STRTP or similar population
• At least 100 hours of experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor, counselor, or other relevant experience
• Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, or caregiver or other relevant experience as determined by CFPC
