The Tax Site Assistant Manager will assist with the day-to-day operation of a free volunteer income tax assistant (VITA) site, supervise and manage tax preparers, and provide support and guidance to volunteer and paid staff.
Requirements
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills required
- College degree or some college and experience working in a similar setting are highly preferred
- General understanding of income tax law is required
- Successful completion of the IRS advanced course is required
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort with technology (computers, software, internet platforms, etc)
- Self-motivated with a high degree of flexibility, creativity, and independence
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and management skills
