Plant Operator

The Plant Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment or field well pads as required to achieve maximum throughput through the facility while actively adhering to the Cenovus policies, safety, operating rules, schedule agreements, attendance guidelines, and Government regulations.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Possess a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate
• Minimum 4 years of Operating experience
• Relevant experience in cyclic steam or SAGD thermal recovery heavy oil operations would be an asset
• Proficiency with computers is required
• Strong technical skills to complement Power Engineering qualifications
