Senior AI Application Engineer

Celonis is seeking a Senior AI Application Engineer to join their AI Apps Team. The successful candidate will work horizontally and partner with Application Domain Leads to enhance domain-specific Solution Suites with AI capabilities. They will develop AI capabilities and solutions that generate AI decision signals to augment agentic and human decision making.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience as a Data Scientist, AI Engineer or a similar position
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python as well as advanced SQL expertise
• Practical experience in Machine Learning solutions like predictive modeling, simulation, anomaly detection, optimization & forecasting
• Proven experience developing AI solutions for enterprises, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful use cases solving real-world problems
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions under tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in production level acceptance testing, delivering end-to-end solutions
• Strong visionary architectural mindset to develop scalable & easily extensible solutions
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics or related field
