Job Description
This role is for an Analyzer Technician at Bishop, TX, responsible for maintaining the Analyzer equipment in Production and Shipping areas. The technician will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, test and calibrate equipment, and contribute to Root Cause Failure Analysis. This is also a backup technician for Instrumentation.
Requirements
- 4 years of hands-on analyzer experience.
- Associates technical degree in instrumentation or 4 years experience in an industrial setting as an analyzer or instrumentation technician.
- Plant systems computer knowledge (email, word, excel, etc.)
- Demonstrated troubleshooting knowledge, maintenance repair experience, projects.
- Chemical process experience.
- Initiative and self-starter.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with production, engineering, and project departments.
- Working knowledge of analyzers and associated equipment.
- Working knowledge of SAP, Loveland and Beamex databases.
- Working knowledge of Celanese’ business.
