Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compliance Nurse to join our multi-specialty physician clinic. This role will manage compliance with Evaluation and Management (E&M) coding guidelines, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining high quality patient care. The role involves reviewing medical charts, providing education, conducting audits, and staying updated on coding regulations.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or Certified Medical Coder
- Previous experience in a compliance role within a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of E&M coding guidelines and medical terminology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software
