Project Engineer

At CECO Environmental, we're a global leader in providing sustainable solutions for industrial air, water, and energy transition. We're looking for a Project Engineer to provide project management and technical direction to our clients for the purpose of delivering safe, cost-effective, and quality execution of medium to large scale environmental exhaust abatement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Previous experience and/or knowledge in the gas abatement industry is desired (specifically wet scrubbers).
• Reading, understanding, and creating of P&IDs and PFDs is required (specifically liquid process flow equipment and valving such as pressure, flow, and analytical instruments).
• Knowledge with sizing recirculation pumps, piping and ducting.
• Must be familiar with engineering drawings (CAD) and must possess an aptitude for mechanical design.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (word, outlook, excel, etc.).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling (SolidWorks).
• Understanding of heat and mass balance transfer basics for wet scrubbers is desired but not required.
