Safety Coordinator (31617)

CEC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs, conduct daily field walks, and develop project-specific corrective action plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and mentoring employees to facilitate a safe culture at project sites.

Requirements

• Assist and coach Crew Foreman/General Foremen in completing daily Operational Risk Management (ORM) boards and the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily, recording findings and corrective actions.
• Interact regularly with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations and provide feedback for resolution.
• Perform periodic audits of power tools and equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
• Assist with delivery of job site-specific safety orientations for new employees.
• Assisting site supervision in completion of incident investigations and root cause analysis.
