Job Description
CEC Facilities Group is seeking a motivated individual to join their team as a Fiber Splicer. The successful candidate will be responsible for splicing & testing fiber optic cables in various physical environments and will require attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Splicing on new construction and restoration projects
- Conduct and validate testing of all network equipment
- Work with the Network Operations Center for final acceptance and testing
- Perform site survey of remote locations
- Label and tag all equipment and cabling
- Perform advanced analysis and troubleshooting of problems / issues
- Participate in on-call rotation schedule for nights and weekends
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
