Safety Officer

CDR Emergency Management Inc. is seeking qualified Safety Officers to join our team for a debris removal mission. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with OSHA safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment, and managing risk on-site.

Requirements

• Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific safety plans for the debris mission.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and local safety regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Train staff on safety procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, and emergency response protocols.
• Investigate safety incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, compliance certifications, and training.
• Act as the primary contact for all safety-related concerns on-site.
• Participate in developing the IAP regarding safety implications.
