Classroom Intern - Early Childhood Services (Unpaid)

Catholic Charities’ Head Start program at Joliet provides early childhood services to children with varying needs. The classroom intern provides support to teachers in adhering to educational standards, maintaining a safe learning environment, and ensuring a high-quality experience for children.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age
• Strong desire to work with children
• Successful completion of 'Introduction to Child Care' or 'Child Development' in 12 months
• At least three college/university credits in Child Development or Early Childhood Education
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Passage of complete background clearance, physical and Tuberculosis (TB) Test
• Reliable transportation and proof of liability insurance
