Payroll Clerk

National Water Main Cleaning is seeking a Payroll Clerk to prepare, process, and produce payroll in a manual environment. The ideal candidate will have high school diploma or equivalent, experience with manual payroll entry, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Requirements

• Gather and manually process data entry of payroll hours
• Complete manual data entry to update employee information
• Reconcile hours for union and nonunion employees
• Maintain employee records
• Answer employee questions regarding pay and benefits
• Ensure accurate and timely benefit enrollment or termination
• Assist with onboarding employees
• Handle terminated employee reporting
• Research state filing requirements
• Perform year-end and quarterly reporting
• Report and pay all payroll taxes
