Job Description
The Fresh Food Buyer is responsible for the profitable procurement and timely delivery of frozen food products to assigned lines. This role involves working closely with the Senior Vice President of Purchasing and ensuring alignment with company goals, managing inventory, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The company is seeking a full-time, warehouse-style supplier.
Requirements
- Marketing/Logistics experience preferred or strong understanding of store operations and merchandising methodologies
- Understanding of grocery procurement, logistics, inventory management, marketing, accounting and financial management practices
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to plan and organize effectively
- Strong computer aptitude in MS Office including Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to deal with frequent interruptions
