Youth Prevention Program Specialist- Northern VA/MD (Part time)

Make a difference in the life of a young person by working as a Student Assistance Program Specialist at Caron, providing behavioral health support to kids K-12 and college students.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, education, counseling, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of one year experience working with youth in a school-based, public health or community-based setting
• Effective presentation, and group facilitation skills
• Fluid communication skills that foster teamwork and high-level collaboration
• Computer literacy and ability to work with virtual meeting platforms, Microsoft Office Suite products and its network
• Knowledge of youth development and substance use prevention principles
• Ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
